This obviously isn't my photo. It's Damon Winter's from the New York Times. He won a Pulitzer for it in 2009. When the State of the Union came on tonight at work, I remembered seeing this photo when we were at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. this year for the Avon Walk. It was one of the first photos you saw when you walked into photo area, and it was in large format and striking. I remember thinking that he looked so reverent and powerful.
